For our final performance there are many things we could have done differently to make the whole scene better in general, at the start of the scene when Briseis and Hecuba are talking, Achilles walked in early but we played it off well by acting confused. I also paced around very little during the play but that was due to it being the first drama recording in school. Harry was sometimes too enthusiastic and sometimes not enough enthusiastic, for example at the start when he says “Priam liked him” that was not loud enough and did not show that he was trying. Due to it being my first time in school recording I was a bit nervous and could not perform to my full capability. 2/5th through the scene our most noticeable mistakes were made. Harry and Eugene were out of time and improvised a whole scene, which was better than them freezing but it added a lot of time and struggle to our performance and messing up the routine the whole play till the end. The end was also included multiple errors, when Jose (The guard) took me, the lights were not meant to be turned off and this was a mistake done by whoever was asked to do the simple task, besides the lights when jose took me to the apparent window to see Achilles getting blown up there was meant to be an explosion sound affect but there was not mistake of the person in power of the sound affects, but we carried on. Then I shot the guard to early and shot him the handle of the gun… and also when I went to Hecuba and helper her the lights were being almost played with for some reason..and then we finished our scene. I know that if we were to do this scene again we would all be very prepared and know what do, we would also have different props and some people different costumes, however I think that my costume was appropriate for a pregnant woman and suitable for the scene though it did make too many smirks and smiles during the day, it was still suitable.

I would plan the ending much differently as it seemed quite confusing for the audience with the lights going off and Jose’s character getting shot at really close range, it has some things that need tweaking however I feel it ran OK with just a few bumps along the way that did not make us get out of character.
